Q1. I have purchased a new laptop / PC and need a fresh install or need a fresh install for another reason

A. A fresh install of the ADU Software program via web download is £25.00  – please contact ADU for further details.

If the fresh install is on an operating system not compatible with your existing seen details then they may also need converting. The cost for conversion is £15.00.

Q2. I am having problems with installation or using the software and require assistance.

A. We can remote access to your pc and resolve any issues for you however there is a charge for remote access resolution. Prices for this service start at £20.00

Q3 Do I have to install / download the updates in order?

A. ADU Software operates an update structure whereby the latest update contains all the latest data for your convenience and ease of use. Therefore, if you miss a CD or web update, the most current update will always ensure you are up to date.

Q4. I need to reinstall ADU Software but I cannot find all the program CDs or I did not save the program upgrade downloads from the website. How can I do this?

A. ADU Software can provide a full version of the latest software to existing users for a fee of £25.00. Contact adu@ntlworld.com for further details.

Q5. In the log program the calendar appears with no dates or incorrect dates showing. How can I rectify this?

A. This is not a problem with ADU but a known issue with Microsoft’s calendar facility within Microsoft Office. To resolve this, close ADU down click on Services from ADU Software’s website. Scroll down until you see technical support print program and log program, click driver update 1, run it and when prompted run again and then unzip. Carry out the same procedure on driver update 2, 3 & 4.

Q6. When I download the update I receive an error message and the update does not appear to have worked. What should I do to resolve this?

A. Please clear your internet cookies and tmp files and attempt the download again.

Q7. When backing up my seen details to a CD, I receive an error message and the backup is unsuccessful. What am I doing wrong?

A. Please ensure you are using a CD-RW and that it has been formatted prior to use. Please note: ADU Software backup and restore does not support CD-Rs.

Q8. I have recently purchased my software package but the program will not install on my PC. What could be wrong?

A. If you are using Windows XP operating system, please ensure you have Windows XP service pack 2 installed prior to installing ADU Software.

Q9. My update password is not accepted when I download the latest update from the website OR I have not received my latest CD update. Why?

A. Your update subscription may have expired and therefore access to web updates or CD updates may have been suspended. Please contact ADU Software for assistance.
